C# .Net Developer

We have a great new opening with a leading business-to-business transport specialist with a major UK presence.
This is a key role in creating full-stack applications largely focused on automation. You will be Interfacing within a team and the wider business and this role requires a well-rounded developer with a range of software engineering and interpersonal skills.

About the role:

• Communicate effectively to the Product Change and Underwriting teams regarding specifications, scheduling and bottlenecks
• GitHub/Azure Dev ops utilisation for software repositories and issue tracking
• Support the Product Change team by maintaining existing tools whilst utilising critical thinking skills, multi-faceted problem-solving and systems thinking
• Perform peer reviews of code changes ensuring adherence to application design
• Responsible for post-live testing and timely defect resolution
• Work independently and have ability to take-charge to ensure ongoing tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Participates in business continuity planning and implementation

• Practical knowledge in C#
• Strong foundation in WPF, MVC and Web APIs
• Ability to use Git software and GitHub
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, INDEX, MATCH etc.
• Excellent logic and reasoning skills
• Proven stakeholder management and experience of interaction with change owners, project managers and business analysts to understand business led strategy
